WHO DOESN’T LOVE ASCENSION?

One last ride. One last rip. One very good reason to refuse to let the season end quietly. After all, Hell No! The season isn’t over until Hill Yeah says it is.

Welcome to the Hill Yeah Ride (HYR), Southern California’s end-of-season celebration of everything we love about riding bikes: pavement and dirt, climbing and descending, suffering and smiling, competition and camaraderie, followed by food, beer, bikes and the glorious retelling of things that may or may not have happened exactly the way you remember them.

This isn’t a gran fondo.
It isn’t a gravel race.
It isn’t a road race.
And it sure as hell isn’t another Sunday coffee ride.

It’s Hill Yeah.

We roll from The Lost Abbey in Vista at 8:00 AM onto a specially concocted course mixing road and unroad, with enough climbing to earn the name and enough surprises to keep everyone entertained.

Want to hammer? Hammer.

Want to chase KOM/QOM glory? There are timed Strava segments waiting for you.

Want to ride hard with your friends, explore some dirt and finish the season with a story worth embellishing over a beer? You have found your people.

And when the riding ends, Hill Yeah keeps rolling.

Back at The Lost Abbey, the parking lot transforms into a cycling bazaar and end-of-season gathering with a bike swap and expo, food trucks, beer garden, cycling brands, gear, bikes, friends and fellow riders.

Buy something.

Sell something.

Eat something.

Drink something.

Talk about bikes with people who are perfectly happy to talk about bikes for an unreasonable amount of time.

RIDE IT. RACE IT. CELEBRATE IT.

Hill Yeah was built around a radical concept:

Cycling should be fun.

So come race the segments. Come ride the unroad. Come hunt for treasure at the bike swap. Come have lunch. Come drink a beer. Come hang out.

Or come do all of it.

$50 gets you into the Hill Yeah Ride, including the ride, event activities and eligibility to contest the KOM/QOM competition.

Bring your friends. Bring your legs. Bring your appetite.
