Registration for Belgian Waffle Ride Mexico 2026 is Now Open!
The Belgian Waffle Ride Mexico is back for its third edition, and registration is officially open!
After three successful editions and becoming one of the premier gravel cycling events in Latin America, BWR Mexico returns to Querétaro on November 21-22, 2026, ready to welcome riders from across Mexico, the United States, Canada, and beyond.
The 2025 edition brought together nearly 700 participants and hundreds of accompanying family members and spectators, further establishing BWR Mexico as the largest and most prestigious gravel cycling event in the country. Riders experienced world-class organization, challenging courses, unforgettable landscapes, and the unique atmosphere that only a Belgian Waffle Ride can deliver.
For 2026, BWR Mexico enters an exciting new chapter with Colnago joining as the Official Bike Partner, bringing together one of cycling's most iconic brands with one of the most exciting gravel events in the BWR Global Series.
Located in the heart of central Mexico, Querétaro offers the perfect setting for a world-class gravel experience. Easily accessible through direct domestic and international flights, the region combines rich culture, historic towns, renowned wine country, and endless gravel roads that seem purpose-built for adventure.
The event venue is located within the beautiful Wine & Cheese Region of Tequisquiapan, Querétaro, home to rolling vineyards, picturesque villages, and spectacular views of Peña de Bernal, one of the world's largest monoliths. Riders will experience a unique blend of fast gravel roads, technical sectors, vineyard landscapes, ranch roads, and unforgettable Mexican hospitality.
Beyond race weekend, Querétaro offers plenty to explore. Visitors can enjoy UNESCO World Heritage architecture, award-winning wineries, local gastronomy, artisan markets, and some of Mexico's most beautiful colonial towns.
Whether you're chasing a podium, seeking a new adventure, or simply looking to experience one of the most unique stops on the BWR Global Calendar, BWR Mexico delivers an experience unlike any other race.

The Belgian Waffle Ride E-Bike category includes electric bikes that meet the power requirements set by the race regulations. E-Bikes can provide electric assistance to pedaling to help cyclists overcome difficult terrain, steep, and prolonged climbs, or allow cyclists of different skill levels to compete together in the same race.
It is important to note that although E-Bikes can provide electric assistance, cyclists in this category must still pedal and comply with the same race rules and regulations as cyclists in traditional categories.
